We are into our summer high season and the fishing for the most part has been fantastic. There have been some odd southern winds coming up last weekend and this weekend which brought some cold water up into the Sea of Cortez and slowed the fishing for a few days. The water quickly warmed in a couple of days and the fishing continues to improve day by day. Right now the fleet has been on an incredible Blue Marlin bite, as the big blues start to make there way through the East Cape. Lots of billfish action this week with many anglers landing Sails, Striped Marlin and Blue Marlin. The rooster bite has been great as well with many anglers landing multiple roosters in the same day. The tuna bite continues as it has all season with a few nice 100+ coming in with most being footballs to 50lbs. The weather has been warming up with highs in the low 90's. The water temps. have been in the low 80's, but when the wind blew the water would drop to the upper 70's.
